Charting Last Week (6/21/21 - 6/25/21)

The North Star GDP Estimate for the first quarter is 14.46% year over year growth (28.40% QoQ). The North Star GDP Forecast for the second quarter is at 11.99% year over year growth (--13.01% QoQ) up from 11.55% last week. The S&P 500 (SPY) bounced back into record territory this week. The red (or green) area indicates 2-3 standard deviations above (or below) the normal 21 day trading range. The gray area indicates 1-2 standard deviations above (or below) the normal 21 day trading range.
The Leading Indicator for International Developed Markets (EFA) increased by 0.05% percentage points to 5.77%. The Leading Indicator for International Emerging Markets (EEM) is at 8.63%. After setting record highs for three consecutive weeks, the S&P 500 (SPY) declined by 2.21% for the week. The Fed is now expected to raise rates twice by the end of 2023. The gray area indicates 1-2 standard deviations above (or below) the normal 21 day trading range.
